Star Struck moment – Dita Von Teese

Yesterday I arrived at LAX for a work trip this week.  I got out of the gate and saw this mannequin-lookalike person standing.  I took a double look and it was Dita Von Teese!!!   For those who knows me knows that I TOTALLY get star struck when I see a celebrity – to the point the people who are with me are embarrassed by me and walked away from me. 😕

Friday Finds – Some Freebies

Hey! I think today’s Friday Finds are more for parents out there.  Back then I used to look for coupons for clothes and restaurants.  Now my eyes light up when I see Pampers, Huggies, or any other baby related coupons!  So today I bring you this Huggies freebie.  You have to sign up to become a member to get this.  I usually wouldn’t mind signing up because I will be receiving coupons later on in the newsletters they send me.  These samples are great.  They’re actually perfect to bring for your diaper bag.  Especially diaper freebies – they’re individually wrapped so I don’t have to put a bag over it.

Product Review – Mountain Buggy Nano

I recently bought another stroller to use as an extra for my current one.  My current one (Maclaren Techno XT) is VERY good (reviews in the future), but I need something easier to carry for the grandparents when they take my daughter out because they take public transportations.  Strollers need to be folded in the bus and sometimes subways don’t have elevator access.  Maclaren Techno XT might not be a good choice, I needed something compact.  Enter the Mountain Buggy Nano.  It’s a new design since February 2014.  Sorry I was going to take some pictures but packed it back in the box for return too soon 😦  It doesn’t mean it’s not a good stroller – it’s just not for us after some considerations.  This is how it looks like on the website:

Elmo Party – 2nd Birthday (behind the scenes)!

It’s my little girl’s birthday this week!  We had a family only party for her this weekend.  Since the party size is smaller, I figured I can do more personalized decorations.  Last time I did personalization was for my wedding.  I haven’t got enough time to do any party planning since I got married!  Now that she is turning 2 I have a little bit more time on my hands after she goes to sleep, I got to do these decorations! 🙂

Friday Finds – C.Wonder sale

C. Wonder is having their semi-annual sale.  Many things are up to 70% off.  For those of you who doesn’t know about C.Wonder, it is owned by Tory Burch‘s ex-husband J.Christopher Burch.  So their styles are pretty similar but with a different price range.  In my opinion, C.Wonder is like a less expensive version of Tory Burch, Kate Spade, & Saturday.  Click here to go straight to this awesome sale!

Deals: Bath & Body works semi-annual sale

Bath & Body Works is having their semi-annual sales until usually at the end of June.  But you want to stock up now as the sale inventory decreases later on the month.  I usually stock up on hand soaps.  I personally think they’re they have the best antibacterial soaps I’ve tried.  I often need super clean hands and fingers when I clean my contacts and prepping food or do anything with my child.  These soaps are wonderful!

Thoughts – How do you address your kid’s age?

My little girl is turning 2 next week!  Some people asked me how old is she going to be, I would either answer 2 or 24 months.  I don’t know why I would say 24 months sometimes, but it just came out naturally.  When people ask you how old your children are, do you tell them their ages in months or years?  When do you stop telling people their age in months and start saying their ages in years?
